Human Communication: the multiple ways that human beings share messages and ideas with each other. Human communication can take place in many different settings and locations, which will affect what kinds of communication will take place. Different communication will also have different consequences brought on by the sharing of information. Human communication can be accomplished through verbal or nonverbal actions (DeFleur, Kearney, Plax, & DeFleur, 2005).
