Group Communication

Group Communication: communication between people working toward a common goal. They work together in an organized way, and base their behavior on agreed upon rules they are expected to follow. Group communication can be formal or informal. Researchers say that a group can be up to 15-20 people, and if there are anymore, than communication cannot be successful between all members of the group (DeFleur, Kearney, Plax, & DeFleur, 2005).
